What Italy reminded me about getting dressed

Hi Momoko,  ​ I just got back from vacation in Italy – it was my first big trip away since CAKES really took off, so I was much more in tune to how people were dressing (and living!) than I was back when I worked my corporate marketing job. No one seemed to be dressing for trends. They were dressing for their actual lives. For a meal with family, a glass of wine after work with a friend, shopping the markets on a Saturday morning. Flowy linen dresses. Cotton tanks. Long skirts. Easy outfits you'd want to wear all day—from coffee in the morning to dinner late at night. It looked effortless because it was.
