This follows the sale of more than 134,000 acres of public lands across Colorado this spring and comes amid a broader expansion of oil and gas leasing across the West. ❌The BLM is also taking steps to fast-track oil and gas drilling across the Western Arctic. The new proposed rule would allow companies to move projects forward with no environmental review, no public input and no accountability for disasters like oil spills or rig collapses.
